Welcome to Farrow Farm, a Standardbred breeding facility located in Southern Quebec close to the NY State border. Owned and operated by Judith Farrow, Farrow Farm has become known for producing quality Standardbred yearlings

Spread over 112 acres, the farm boasts a large 12 boxstall barn, many turnout paddocks and numerous pastures where mares and foals spend their summer. Once weaned in the Fall the colts and fillies are separated and turned out in groups until sale preparation begins the following summer. Eight weeks prior to a sale they get brought in and given individual 10x15 boxstalls, daily handling and turn-out.

With over 30 years of experience in the horse industry, first with show horses and since 1996 with Standardbreds, Judith knows how to raise babies. No expense is spared when it comes to the nutritional needs of the horses from the time a foal is conceived through to the yearling sale itself.

The results of Judith's program are reflected in the percentage (65%) of her yearlings that make it to the races, which is above the national average.

In the last 2 years the broodmare band has been culled to five quality mares by sires such as Mr. Lavec, Conway Hall and Die Laughing.
